Participating in a company emergency response (BHV) course, or curious about what you need to do as a BHV officer? Read the frequently asked questions below.
Can I, as a member, participate in a BHV course?
Yes, you can; your employer can register you through Mr. Green to attend a BHV training.
These are organized annually (mid-March) at various Mr. Green locations.
During this afternoon, attention will also be paid to an evacuation drill.
Costs will be charged per participant for this.
What can I expect from a Mr. Green employee?
Mr. Green aims for all colleagues in the hospitality team to have a BHV certificate and be aware of the company emergency plan.
In the event of emergencies within a team or company, Mr.Green employees can provide support. However, they can never be held responsible or counted towards the legally required number of BHV officers for a company.
I am a BHV officer: where do I report in case of emergencies?
Basically, a BHV officer is asked to gather at the bar in the café.
(If this is a safe place) From here, within the opening hours of the café, a Mr. Green employee can act as a team leader and distribute tasks / maintain an overview.
Please read the general information for more details on the first steps you can take as a BHV officer during an emergency.
Who is the point of contact for BHV-related matters?
For questions, you can contact the boss or location manager.
