MR. GREEN'S STEP-BY-STEP PLAN :
Anyone who reports a fire alarm essentially gives the order for evacuation.
As soon as an incident is reported, all emergency responders (BHV'ers) gather at the bar in the cafe.
STEP 1 : Assess whether the bar is still safe enough as a gathering point.
STEP 2 : The team leader assigns 2 emergency responders (BHV'ers) to investigate the incident / indicated location to determine what needs to be evacuated:
- The floor(s) must be evacuated
- The entire building must be evacuated
- False alarm
One of the two emergency responders (BHV'ers) returns to the bar as quickly as possible to inform the team leader of what's happening; the other remains with any potential victim.
STEP 3 : Meanwhile, the team leader already divides the remaining emergency responders (BHV'ers).
Tasks an emergency responder (BHV'er) can receive:
- Call 112 and receive emergency services outside.
- Go to the assembly point with a first aid kit and laptop to assist everyone. (If crossing the road is required, ask someone to direct traffic).
- Contact Mr. Green's support room regarding attendance lists and camera footage.
- Evacuate the premises; this is preferably done in pairs, and each is assigned a section in the building by the team leader where they must evacuate.
STEP 4 : Findings are communicated to the team leader downstairs at the bar or the agreed-upon location if the bar is not safe.
STEP 5 : Once your task is completed and the team leader indicates you're done, you must always go to the assembly point and wait there until the signal is given that you can leave.
