What does a USB-C port look like?
The USB-C port is an oval-shaped port. It's also smaller than a USB-A port. Additionally, the USB-C connector is symmetrical, so you can insert a USB-C plug into the USB-C port in two ways.
USB-C on your MacBook
Follow these steps on your MacBook:
- Start your MacBook;
- On the desktop, go to the Apple logo in the top left corner and click on it;
- Click on 'About This Mac';
- Check your model/introduction year;
- Use the table below to see what you can do with your type of USB-C on MacBook.
